Ulysses Parker & Denise Gillyard of the Trista Metro Tall Cans Bid Whist Club of N.Y. won 2 of 3 games in the Preliminary Rounds. They then swept through the "Sweet 16 Finals" to take the 1st Place prize at the Friday Night Special Tournament held during the Cincinnati Bid Whist Marathon. This is the 2nd victory for this fine team. They also won 1st Place at the Hartford Grand Prix Bid Whist Main Event Tournament held July 13, 2002. They also won the 3rd place prize in the Bicycle 2002 National Bid Whist Championship held on October 19, 2002. Congratulations To Parker & Denise. |
