Shaina & Jermaine members of the West Coast Best Bid Whist Club Of Los Angeles won all 3 games in the preliminary rounds. Then they swept through the "Sweet 16 Playoffs" to take the Bicycle Playing Cards Las Vegas Main Event Bid Whist Championship. The Tournament was held at the Plaza Hotel on October 18, 2003. Fifty seven teams competed for the 1st Place Prize. Due to the increase in attendance, the 1st Place prize rose from an advertised $2000 to $3000. It was the first Grand Prix victory for Jermaine, and Shaina took 2nd Place at a 2002 Los Angeles Grand Prix Event. Congratulations to Shaina & Jermaine. |
