They then swept through the "Sweet 16 Playoffs" to win the over $2,000 1st Place Prize at the Main Event Tournament. Fernando & Paulette are veterans on the Sharks Tour. In fact, Paulette won the first National Championship in 2002. The Main Event Tournament was part of the Bid Whist Across America Tour Las Vegas Bid Whist Weekend held October 19-20, 2007.
