Mike & Deborah of Atlanta won all 3 games in the Preliminary Rounds. They then swept through the "Sweet 16 Playoffs" to win the 1st Place Prize at the Saturday Morning Early Bird Special Tournament. Mike has previously won on the Bid Whist Tour, but this is the 1st time his partner Deborah has played on the Bid Whist Tour, and she took 1st Place . The Early Bird Special Tournament was part of the Bid Whist Across America Tour New Orleans Bid Whist Weekend held February 8-9, 2008.
