York won 3 games and lost 3 games in their six Preliminary Round games.
They then swept through the "Elite
8 Playoffs" to take 1st Place in the
"Family Digest Magazine Bid Whist World Championship.
This team also won 1st Place in the
"Family Digest Early Bird Tournament"
held two days earlier. The Tournament was held
over a two day period as part of
the Family Digest Family Fun Weekend. It was held at the Riveria Hotel in
Las Vegas from July 1-4, 2004. A total of $7,500 was awarded in this World
Championship Tournament.
