"Saturday Matinee"
Sam Wilson & Robert Simon from The D.C. area, may be new to playing in National Card Sharks Inc. tournaments, but they are definitely not new to the game of Bid Whist. This team entered the Grand Prix Bid Whist Tour with a loud bang that can be heard all the way up to New York.
They entered in 3 of the 4 tournaments at the DC/Baltimore Grand Prix Marathon, and they finished in the money in every tournament they entered. In addition to finishing first in the Saturday Matinee Tournament, they finished 2nd in the Mid-Atlantic Bid Whist Championship, and they finished 4th in the Saturday Night Fever tournament, All 3 tournaments were held on April 13, 2002. They had one great day and evening. Congratulations to Sam & Robert.

Eva Duncan & Stephanie Pegues of Las Vegas took home the 2nd place prize at the DC/Baltimore Grand Prix Marathon. Stephanie is on a roll, she also finished in the money in 2 of the 4 tournaments held at the Los Angeles Grand Prix in February, 2002.
