Eugene Pilgrim & Cletus Horton of the New
York Whist Lovers won two out of three games in the Preliminary rounds, and then
swept through the Elite 8 Playoffs to take the 1st place prize, In The Hartford Grand Prix
Friday Night Special Tournament held on July 12, 2002. Eugene & Cletus came in the money in 3 out of the 4 tournaments held this
weekend.They took 1st place in the Saturday Night Fever Tournament
and 2nd place in the Hartford Main Event Tournament.

3 games in the Preliminary rounds. They then swept through the Elite 8 Playoffs
