Nessie & Lenora of New York City won all 3 games in the Preliminary Rounds, they then swept through the "Sweet 16 Playoffs, to win the Oakland Main Event Championship. This team has been playing on the tour since 2001, and have won 1st Place earlier this year in Minneapolis, Atlanta  They are currently Ranked #1 (tied with Slammer) in the National Bid Whist Rankings. The Main Event Tournament was part of the Bid Whist Across America Tour Oakland Bid Whist Weekend held October 20-21, 2006.
