St. Louis Grand Prix
"Saturday Night Fever"
Lou Williams & Terjuan Lister of the Big Apple Bid
Whist League won their 1st 2 games and did not score a point in their 3rd game,
but they still managed to make the Elite 8 Playoffs. They then swept through the
playoffs and took home the 1st place prize in the St. Louis Saturday Night Fever
Tournament held May 18, 2002. This fine team also took home 1st place in the Saturday Night Main Event Tournament
held later that night. In addition, they took home 1st place in the West Coast Bid Whist Title
held February, 2002 in Los Angeles. Congratulations to Lou & Terjuan.

Whistologists did not score any points in the 2nd game of the Preliminary
rounds, but they scored enough in the 1st and 3rd games to make the Elite 8 Playoffs.They
then preformed flawlessly in the Elite 8 Playoffs until they lost to Lou & Terjuan in
the Championship game. Calvin was telling everyone that he rode his partner Bill Hill's
coattails to the 2nd place finish. In fact, his partner Bill finished in the money in all
four tournaments held at the St. Louis Grand Prix Marathon.
