"Saturday Matinee"
Bill Hill & Willie Wilson of the St. Louis
Whistologists won all 3 of their games in the Preliminary rounds, but they did not stop there,
they then proceeded to win all of their games in the Elite 8 Playoffs to take the 1st
place prize in the Saturday Afternoon Matinee Tournament held at the St. Louis Bid Whist
Marathon on May 18, 2002. It was a fantastic weekend for Bill Hill. He came in the money
in all four tournaments held in St. Louis that weekend. He took 1st in this tournament. He
took 2nd in the Saturday Night Fever
Tournament held later that day. He took 3rd in the Main Event Tournament held earlier that day. He took 4th in
the Friday Night Special Tournament held
the night before. Congratulations to Bill & Willie.

Whistologist won the 2nd Place prize. In fact all four teams making it to the
Final 4 of this tournament were from the St. Louis area. Congratulations to
